In Jesus’ Name Charities is a collective compassionate and spiritual response to hunger and poverty in our community in which people may do small acts of kindness and sharing to comfort and help their neighbors in need. It operates an ongoing emergency food response, and verifies needs and coordinates a network of volunteers and donors to meet those needs. In Jesus Name was founded in 1981 when the Hoboken Clergy Coalition formed to respond to the various needs of the poor of Hoboken and is tax exempt as a church organization hosted by Our Lady of Grace Church.
